Recollections for Men
Greywood Study Centre holds Evenings of Recollection for men on the second Monday of every month.
The evenings begin at 7:30pm and finish at 9:15pm. They are conducted by a priest of the Prelature of Opus Dei. The evenings include time for prayer, talks on catholic doctrine and virtues and concludes with Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament.

Wine and Cheese intellectual discussions
Wine and Cheese is an open discussion forum for men across the Waikato. It meets on the third Thursday of the month to discuss topics in politics, bioethics, social issues, the environment and any matter affecting our world today.

Scholar Sessions
Our goal is that all boys achieve 100% NCEA Excellences or Cambridge International O level A*.
Scholar Sessions is a weekly study group for high school boys aged 14-18. The students meet on Monday afternoons 3-6pm. It includes:
Time for homework/assignments (tutors available)
Deep Work study habits
Monthly activities including excursions, guest speakers and sports
A tutorial on Christian faith, morals and virtues
personal mentoring (optional)
Spiritual Direction (optional)

Pioneer Club
The Pioneer Club is for High School boys within the wider Waikato area aged 11-15. We have fortnightly activities on the second and fourth Saturday afternoons that includes time for homework and assignments, personal mentoring, opportunity for confession and a talk on a particular virtue or aspect of Christian formation.
Each school holidays, The Pioneer Club combines with the Endeavour Club (run at Glenrowan Study Centre in Auckland) to organise a camp for club members. These camps are lead by the Pioneer Club Team and are often run with the assistance of older high school boys, university students and club dads.
Our most popular camps are the annual Summer and Winter Camps. Past camps have also been a great success, including doing the Tongariro Crossing, Karangahake Gorge, tramping The Pinnacles and exploring Mount Taranaki.

Father and Son Club
Father and Son Club is for boys aged 7-11 along with their dads. It is run once a month on the second Saturday of the month.
Father and Son Club is run mainly out of Greywood Study Centre with the odd excursion during the summer months. Each club day has a combination of activities like chapel time, engaging talks, poetry recital, sports and epic craft build.
